Basketball Recap: Tempe Skates Past NFL yet Academy with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Tempe). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the NFL Yet Academy Eagles 80-43. The Buffaloes have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 30 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Nassir Cobbs, who posted 30 points and three steals. His afternoon made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Josiah Criss, who put up 16 points and three steals.

Tempe has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 35.3 points. As for NFL Yet Academy, they now have a losing record at 2-3.

Tempe didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 61-52 loss against Casa Grande on the 27th. As for NFL Yet Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, an 88-49 defeat against Walden Grove on the 28th.
