Eureka is a perfect 10-0 against Wells since October of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 12:00 p.m. Eureka will be strutting in after a win while Wells will be coming in after a defeat.

Last Saturday, Eureka beat McDermitt 3-1. The victory continues a trend for the Vandals in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won four in a row.

Eureka was actually outscored in aggregate across those four sets (82-75), but they still managed to win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 0-25, 25-21, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Wells came up short against Tintic on Saturday and fell 3-1. The Leopards have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Eureka's win bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Wells, their loss dropped their record down to 4-12.

Eureka took their victory against Wells when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vandals since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
