Sumner had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the eight-goal drubbing they dealt East Grand on Friday. The Tigers never let the Vikings get on the board and left with an 8-0 win. Considering Sumner have won six contests by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting East Grand from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Makinley Crowley led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Sumner's victory bumped their record up to 9-0. As for East Grand, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.
