Hopkinsville took down Apollo 44-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
The Tigers made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 8,013 from 8,435. The advance stemmed from a 44-0 victory over the Eagles last week.
Graves County's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Conner McKee threw for 62 and 1 touchdown and Jordan Tyler had 37 yards receiving. On the ground Cody Crider contributed 184 yards. Dionte Gray helped Graves County's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 25 yards.
The Eagles' dynamic duo of McKee and Tyler proved tough for McCracken County to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Gray helped Graves County's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 25 yards.
Crider provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Graves County lost to McCracken County.
Graves County's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Eagles feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Peyton Puckett has thrown for 1,280 yards and 14 touchdowns this season, while Jake Williams has 29 catches for 437 yards.
A big matchup in 5A District 1 this week will be when Ohio County takes on Lance Gregory's team. The Eagles are in fourth place, while the Eagles are in first place.
Hopkinsville led the league in scoring this week by notching 44 points on Apollo.
