Softball Recap: China Spring Gets the Win

It was a proper cat-fight when China Spring duked it out with Elgin on Saturday. The Cougars walked away with a 9-5 win over the Wildcats.

China Spring's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Elgin, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

Coming up, China Spring will host Grandview at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Elgin, they will challenge Taylor at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Ducks have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.5 runs per game on average), something the Wildcats will no doubt try to take advantage of.
