After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Leslie County, Jenkins was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They had just enough and edged the Jackson City Tigers out 3-1. For Jenkins, this counts as revenge for the 11-1 loss Jackson City walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2023.

Caleb Morgan spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up 17 Ks.
