Soccer Recap: Saint James Has No Trouble Against LAMP

After failing to score in their last contest, Saint James made sure to put some goals up on the board against LAMP on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Golden Tigers. The result was nothing new for Saint James, who have now won four games by three goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting LAMP from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Molly Phillips led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.

Saint James' win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for LAMP, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Saint James is set to square off against their familiar foe Montgomery Catholic at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, LAMP will challenge rival Tallassee at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
