Baseball Recap: Como-Pickton Extends Winning Streak to Five

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Como-Pickton). They were the clear victors by a 22-10 margin over the Cumby Trojans on Friday. Considering the Eagles have won five contests by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The win was the fifth in a row for Como-Pickton, bringing their record up to 7-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.6 runs over those games. As for Cumby, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-11-1.
