Volleyball Recap: Herrin Takes a Loss

Herrin lost against Pinckneyville back in August of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Tigers fell 2-0 to the Panthers.

Herrin was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring 16 points in every single set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-16.

Herrin has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 16 of their last 20 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-23 record this season. As for Pinckneyville, their record now sits at 23-7.

Coming up, Herrin will host Marion at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pinckneyville, they will venture away from home to take on Waterloo at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.
