Basketball Game Preview: Peachtree Academy Panthers vs. Faith Christian Academy

Having just played yesterday, the Peachtree Academy Panthers will head out on the road to face off against Faith Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses apiece.

It was a proper cat-fight when Peachtree Academy took on Trinity Prep on Thursday. Peachtree Academy took a 60-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of Trinity Prep.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Caleb Jackson, who posted 24 points. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Liam Abraham, who earned 14 points.

Meanwhile, Faith Christian Academy played a tough matchup on Monday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against Alleluia Community, falling 73-46. Faith Christian Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 51-18.

Peachtree Academy will have to keep a close watch on Hagen Williams and Haven Brannen, a pair of players who had a big impact on Faith Christian Academy's prior game. Williams put up 16 points, while Brannen had 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Riley Anderson, who scored seven points.

Peachtree Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Faith Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.
