Football Game Preview: Washington Eagles vs. Worthing Colts + Official Tickets

Washington hasn't had much luck against Worthing recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Eagles will be playing at home against the Colts at 7:30 p.m. Washington is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games.

On Friday, Washington needed a bit of extra time to put away Wheatley. They walked away with a 13-6 win over the Wildcats. The 13-point effort marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Washington's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB ten times. The heavy lifting was done by Dexter Williams and Korey Lavalais, who racked up 6.5 sacks between them. Washington got some further help from Isiah Howard: he picked up 1.5 sacks, forced one fumble, and made four total tackles.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Worthing). They blew past Northside 57-7 on Saturday. The Colts haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Worthing's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Washington, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.
