Vacaville entered their tilt with Pleasant Grove on Saturday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Eagles. This was payback for the Bulldogs, who suffered a 2-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Their offense was headlined by Addison Schnell and Gianna Brunnie, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Noelle Watkins and her 13 assists. Madissy Marshall controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Vacaville's victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

Coincidentally, Vacaville and Pleasant Grove will both be playing Pioneer the next time they take the court. The Eagles will head out to face the Patriots at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Bulldogs will play them later in the day, at 6:00 p.m.
