Basketball Recap: Neches Victorious

It was a proper cat-fight when Neches duked it out withOakwood on Friday. The Neches Tigers walked away with a 47-39 victory over the Oakwood Panthers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 50-29 back in January.

The win made it two in a row for Neches and bumps their season record up to 14-13. As for Oakwood, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Trinidad the next time they take the court. Neches will host Trinidad at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Oakwood will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on February 7th.
