Baseball Recap: Oley Valley Takes a Loss

The Oley Valley Lynx came up short against the Central Bucks West Bucks on Thursday and fell 9-5. The Lynx have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Timothy Fries was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run. Parker Detwiler also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Oley Valley's record is now 7-4. As for Central Bucks West, their record now sits at 9-3.

Oley Valley and Central Bucks West should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings. The Lynx will face off against Brandywine Heights Area at 4:00 p.m. on Monday with a big rank advantage (143 vs. 536). Meanwhile, Central Bucks West (ranked 21st) will meet Central Bucks East (ranked 102nd) at 3:45 p.m. on the 28th.
