Recap: Carlson Marauders vs. Dexter Dreadnaughts
The Carlson Marauders had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They secured a 27-23 W over Dexter on Friday. Winning may never get old, but Carlson sure are getting used to it with their tenth in a row.
Carlson found their leader in underclassman Izaiah Wright, who rushed for 178 yards and two touchdowns. Wright was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 69 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Joe Krolak, who rushed for 82 yards.
Carlson's victory was their sixth straight at home , which pushed their record up to 10-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 38.7 points per game. As for Dexter, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-4.
Carlson will stay at home for another week and welcome Mott at 7:00 p.m. on November 10th. Mott has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 118 points over their last three games. Dexter does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
