Volleyball Game Preview: Centaurus Warriors vs. Horizon Hawks + How To Watch

The Centaurus Warriors will square off against the Horizon Hawks at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Centaurus will bounce into Thursday's contest after beating Longmont, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. The Warriors skirted past the Trojans 3-2. The win was some much needed relief for the Warriors as it spelled an end to their three-match losing streak.

Centaurus was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-21, 13-25, 25-14, 15-9.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Horizon, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. Everything went their way against Broomfield on Tuesday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Horizon walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-20, 26-16, 25-16.

Horizon's victory bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Centaurus, their win bumped their record up to 8-4.
