Basketball Game Preview: Manual Rams vs. Washington Panthers

Manual is 0-6 against Washington since December of 2016 but things could change on Thursday. The Rams will take on the Panthers at 7:00 p.m.

On Tuesday, Manual had to suffer through a 53-20 loss at the hands of Richwoods. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 172nd, while the Knights are ranked 39th).

Meanwhile, Washington waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They strolled past the Cardinals with points to spare, taking the game 65-50.

Manual's loss dropped their record down to 14-10. As for Washington, their win bumped their record up to 22-1.

Manual was dealt a bruising 55-25 defeat at the hands of Washington in their previous meeting back in January of 2025. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Rams were down 35-13.
