Soccer Game Preview: Marquette Catholic vs. Trinity Academy

The Marquette Catholic Blazers will face off against the Trinity Academy Titans at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. Marquette Catholic will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Marquette Catholic gave up the first goal on Thursday, but they didn't let that get them down. They came out on top against Westville by a score of 3-1. Given Marquette Catholic's advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana soccer rankings (they are ranked 127th, while Westville are ranked 297th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Trinity Academy kept a clean sheet against Lakeland Christian Academy on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Cougars. Two seems to be a good number for Trinity Academy as the team scooped up a win with the same number of goals in their previous game.

The victory got Trinity Academy back to even at 3-3. As for Marquette Catholic, their win bumped their record up to 10-2-1.
