Foundation Academy and The First Academy squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Foundation Academy had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Royals. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last three times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Foundation Academy took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-14, 25-22.

When it comes to explaining why Foundation Academy lost, don't look at Luna Dela Cruz. Despite the final result, she had 23 digs. Dela Cruz has been hot, having posted 13 or more digs the last seven times she's played.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead The First Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Selah Kohler, who had 16 digs and three assists.
