Episcopal took a three-set loss the last time they faced off against Hockaday, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Knights had just enough and edged out the Daisies 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Knights have posted since September 4th.

Despite the defeat, Hockaday had strong showings from Siena Ebert, who had 20 digs and two aces, and Mila Haffar, who had 17 digs and seven kills. Ebert has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last four times she's played.

Episcopal has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-13-1 record this season. As for Hockaday, the loss snapped their winning streak at ten matches and leaves them with a 27-18 record.

Episcopal does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hockaday, they have already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Greenhill on the 8th.
