University came into Friday's match looking for another win against Garden Grove, but Quentin Pacelli wouldn't allow it. The Argonauts blew past the Trojans 35-14 on Friday with plenty of help from Pacelli, who rushed for 380 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.5 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his seventh straight game with at least 167 rushing yards dating back to last season.

University lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Cruz McMullens, who picked up 117 receiving yards and one score. He was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield on a catch that went for 69 yards.

Garden Grove's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for University, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Garden Grove will host Rancho Alamitos at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Vaqueros' defense has only allowed 14.2 points per game this season, so the Argonauts' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for University, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Glenn at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
