Two dominant guards in Robyn Cantwell and Riley Turknett are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Keswick Christian Crusaders will be taking part in a tournament against the Seminole Warhawks at 11:30 a.m. on Friday. Keswick Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.1 points per game this season.
Keswick Christian will bounce into Friday's matchup after beating Tampa Prep, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Keswick Christian took their game last Monday with ease, bagging a 74-16 victory over Tampa Prep. The Crusaders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 35 points or more this season.

Keswick Christian's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Cantwell, who posted ten points and three steals, and Kenyan Heuertz, who went 6 of 9 on her way to 12 points. Cantwell has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last five times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Zoe Cobourne, who had ten points.
Keswick Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive boards in four consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Seminole unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Clearwater Central Catholic an easy 53-30 win. While losing is never fun, the Warhawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 348th, while the Marauders are ranked 122nd).
Despite the loss, Seminole saw an underclassman step up: freshman Aubrey Close posted ten points and four steals.
Keswick Christian has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.0 points per game. As for Seminole, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-5.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Keswick Christian has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 34.3 boards per game. However, it's not like Seminole struggles in that department as they've been averaging 34.5 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
