Soccer Recap: Elizabethton Comes Up Short

Elizabethton lost against Tennessee back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Fighting Cyclones fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 2-1.

Elizabethton's goal came courtesy of Phillip Lambert, who's now up to six this season.

Elizabethton now has a losing record of 3-4-2. As for Tennessee, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2-1 record this season.

Elizabethton will head out to take on David Crockett at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Tennessee, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Unicoi County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
