Basketball Game Preview: Alliance Aviators vs. Wooster Generals

The Alliance Aviators will take on the Wooster Generals at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

While Alliance didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They took down Marlington 61-44 on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Aviators.

Meanwhile, Wooster was able to grind out a solid victory over Madison Comprehensive on Thursday, taking the game 59-47. Given the Generals' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 207th, while the Rams are ranked 516th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Alliance is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. As for Wooster, their win bumped their record up to 7-4.
