Volleyball Game Preview: Pioneer Valley Christian Eagles vs. Westfield Bombers

The Pioneer Valley Christian Eagles will venture away from home to take on the Westfield Bombers at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

On Wednesday, Pioneer Valley Christian got the win against Millis by a conclusive 3-0.

Westfield extended their home winning streak to six games thanks to a huge performance from Nolan Rodgers. The Bombers blew past Granby 3-0 on Saturday for which the team can thank Rodgers, who had 20 digs and one assist. He is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had 12 or more in each of the last three games he's played.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Westfield took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-14, 25-14.

Westfield is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season. As for Pioneer Valley Christian, their win bumped their record up to 9-3.
