Volleyball Recap: Madison's Luck Changes for the Better on Tuesday

Madison not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since August 28th (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against the Arlington Cardinals as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory was some much needed relief for the Bulldogs as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Madison not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Arlington between 18 and 19 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-19, 25-18.

Jaya Engels paced Madison's offense, picking up 15 kills. Engels got some help from Karley Theede C and her 29 assists. Theede C was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Madison's win bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Arlington, they now have a losing record of 7-8.

Coming up, Madison will welcome Tri-Valley at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday. Someone's luck will take a turn for the better: the Bulldogs have lost three straight at home , while the Mustangs have lost three on the road. As for Arlington, they will head out to face off against St. Mary at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
