Football Recap: Santa Margarita Eagles vs. Centennial Huskies
Santa Margarita faced Centennial in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Eagles snuck past the Huskies with a 33-27 victory. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Eagles considering their three-point performance the match before.
Trace Johnson was nothing short of spectacular: he threw for 209 yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in one TD on the ground. A healthy portion of Johnson's aerial production (83 yards to be exact) went to Luke Gazzaniga.
