Baseball Recap: Brinkley Comes Up Short

Brinkley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Guy-Perkins Thunderbirds, falling 16-1.

Brinkley's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Guy-Perkins, they moved to 3-3 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Brinkley will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Riverview at 4:30 p.m. on April 1st. After both having extra time off, Guy-Perkins and Sacred Heart will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field one another at 4:00 p.m. on April 1st. Guy-Perkins is facing Sacred Heart at the right time seeing as Sacred Heart is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
