Soccer Recap: Canal Winchester Comes Up Short

Canal Winchester managed to slip by Logan the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Indians came up short against the Chieftains on Tuesday, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, Canal Winchester can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 222nd, while Logan are ranked 109th).

Canal Winchester's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6-1. As for Logan, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Canal Winchester will host Grove City at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Logan, they will look to defend their home pitch on Saturday against Chillicothe at 6:00 p.m.
