Basketball Recap: Seguin Takes a Loss

Seguin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. The match between them and the Joshua Owls didn't end well, with the Seguin Cougars falling 54-37. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 761st, while the Owls are ranked 340th).

Seguin's defeat dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Joshua, they now have a winning record of 14-13.

Seguin will head out to challenge Burleson at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Joshua, they will face off against Centennial at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Centennial's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three contests.
