Softball Game Preview: Chaney Cowboys vs. East Palestine Bulldogs

Chaney is 0-3 against East Palestine since April of 2021 but things could change on Friday. The Cowboys will welcome the Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Chaney is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 17 runs on Monday, they were much more limited against Crestview on Thursday. They came up short against the Rebels, falling 11-2.

Meanwhile, East Palestine lost 12-1 to United on Monday. The loss continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Golden Eagles: they've now lost nine in a row.

East Palestine saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Taylor Foster, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Chaney's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for East Palestine, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
