Top 5 teams all come away with convincing victories in the MaxPreps Xcellent 25.
The nation's top teams continue to impress, and as a result, the battle for the No. 1 spot could be a photo finish.
The Top 5 teams in the country all won convincingly, highlighted by a 30-6 victory for St. Thomas Aquinas over California power De La Salle.
Bellevue (Wash.), which continues to impress, moves from No. 20 to No. 16. The Washington power has been dominant this season.
Returning to the Top 10 is St. Edward. The Eagles are 5-0 and enjoyed a lopsided victory over defending Florida state champion Jefferson.
Servite, perhaps the top team in California so far this season, enters the rankings. The Friars will hit the road to take on Bishop Gorman on Friday night.
Cincinnati power Moeller also enters the rankings, following a 27-24 victory over St. Xavier.

2. (2) Armwood (Seffner, Fla.), 4-0Armwood looked dominant once again, pounding Leto 68-0. Returning from injury,
Matt Jones scored three touchdowns.
3. (3) Trinity (Louisville, Ky.), 5-0James Quick scored two second-half touchdowns as Trinity pulled away from Cathedral 36-14.
4. (4) Allen (Texas), 4-0Continuing its dominant play, Allen hammered Plano 44-7. Plano's only touchdown came on a fumble recovery.
5. (5) St. Thomas Aquinas (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.), 3-0In a highly touted showdown, Aquinas came away with an
impressive 30-6 victory over California power De La Salle.

Rodney Anderson went for 168 yards as Katy hammered city rival Seven Lakes 46-7.

Joey Copeland helped Gaffney win easily, 73-0 over Greenville.

12. (15) Harrison (Farmington Hills, Mich.), 5-0Aaron Burbridge hauled in three touchdowns and 215 yards for Harrison, which beat Southfield-Lathrup 43-0.
13. (16) Mallard Creek (Charlotte, N.C.), 5-0Jela Duncan rushed for four touchdowns on just eight carries in Mallard Creek's big 55-0 win over Lake Norman.
14. (17) Buford (Ga.), 6-0Buford moved to 6-0 on the season with a 35-7 victory over Lovett.
Andre Johnson rushed for 180 yards.
15. (11) Trinity (Euless, Texas), 5-0Austin Lopez nailed a 37-yard field goal in overtime to help Trinity squeak past Heritage 38-35.

17. (18) Warren Central (Indianapolis), 6-0Enjoying its second consecutive blowout, Warren Central cruised to a 50-19 victory over North Vigo.

19. (21) Lake Travis (Austin, Texas), 5-0Baker Mayfield threw for two touchdowns and rushed for another in Lake Travis' 54-16 victory over Dripping Springs.

24. (25) Columbus (Miami), 3-0Darryl Chestnut's three touchdowns were more than enough for Columbus, which downed Miami 55-3.
25. (23) Union (Tulsa, Okla.), 4-0Union pounded Bixby 67-17. The Redskins' defense and special teams accounted for three scores.
