Mayville skates past Owendale-Gagetown with ease

Recap: Mayville Wildcats vs. Owendale-Gagetown Bulldogs
The Mayville Wildcats scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They blew past Owendale-Gagetown, posting a 68-18 win at home. The win was some much needed relief for Mayville as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Leading Mayville to victory were Jace Brown and Jackson Buhl. Brown scored 11 points, while Buhl scored 14 points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Mason Halsne, who scored six points.
Mayville's win bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Owendale-Gagetown, their loss was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-11.
Mayville will square off against Deckerville at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Owendale-Gagetown, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against North Huron at 7:30 p.m.
