Volleyball Recap: Logan-Rogersville Extends Winning Streak to Three

Logan-Rogersville waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Marshfield Bluejays. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Wildcats have posted against the Bluejays since October 23, 2018.

Logan-Rogersville had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 19-25, 25-17, 25-20, 15-11.

Millie Bauer paced Logan-Rogersville's offense, picking up 28 kills. Bauer got some help from Kamryn Marshall and her 55 assists. Hailey Buckman and Addison Hammond kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Logan-Rogersville's win bumped their record up to 25-6-1. As for Marshfield, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 25-9-2.

As of now, neither Logan-Rogersville nor the Bluejays have any future games scheduled.
