North dropped down to 6-4 on Tuesday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They lost 9-3 to the El Segundo Eagles. If the Saxons were looking for revenge after losing 11-2 to the Eagles when the teams met back in April of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

North saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rylee Joyce, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

As for El Segundo, they pushed their record up to 7-5 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games.

On El Segundo's side, Molly McAndrews spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up six Ks. McAndrews has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one walk in seven consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Taryn Walker was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Carter Cswaykus, who went 2-for-4 with four runs, two stolen bases, and one RBI.

North has already played their next matchup, a 6-1 win against Santa Monica on the 19th. As for El Segundo, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 4-0 loss against Palos Verdes on the 19th.
