Basketball Recap: Brazoswood Comes Up Short

Brazoswood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They took a hard 68-53 fall against the Clear Brook Wolverines. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Buccaneers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 64-39 back in January.

Brazoswood's record is now 10-20. As for Clear Brook, they moved to 19-14 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Brazoswood and Clear Brook could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Brazoswood will challenge Clear Lake at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday down 537 places (769 vs. 232). Meanwhile, Clear Brook (ranked 266th) will meet Clear Springs (ranked 39th) at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
