Basketball Recap: North Kansas City Takes a Loss

North Kansas City entered their match against Rock Bridge on Wednesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The North Kansas City Hornets fell just short of the Rock Bridge Bruins by a score of 71-69. The Hornets lost against the Bruins in their previous head to head back in January of 2017, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 72-48 score last time.

North Kansas City's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 3-2. As for Rock Bridge, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

North Kansas City wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 63-47 loss against Blue Springs South on the 13th. Rock Bridge and Central will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
