Baseball Recap: Horizon Comes Up Short

Horizon's last matchup with Americas could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Monday. The Scorpions lost 7-0 to the Trail Blazers. The defeat continues a trend for the Scorpions in their meetings with the Trail Blazers: they've now lost four in a row.

Horizon's loss dropped their record down to 17-7. As for Americas, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-5.

While Horizon had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
