Basketball Recap: South St. Paul Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact South St. Paul can now relate to. They were dealt a 66-27 loss at the hands of the Cretin-Derham Hall Raiders on Saturday. While losing is never fun, the Packers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 238th, while the Raiders are ranked 81st).

South St. Paul has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-15 record this season. Cretin-Derham Hall is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record this season.

As of now, neither South St. Paul nor Cretin-Derham Hall have any future games scheduled.
