Volleyball Recap: Paramount Takes a Loss

Paramount entered their match against Gahr on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Pirates lost 3-0 to the Gladiators. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Pirates have suffered since August 12th.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-12, 25-15.

Paramount's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Gahr, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-8.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Paramount will face off against rival Lynwood at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Gahr is set to take on their familiar foe Firebaugh at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
