Basketball Recap: Webber Takes a Loss

Webber was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 46-28 bruising from the Pembroke Dragons. The match was a 17-17 toss-up at halftime, but the Tigers couldn't quite close it out.

Pembroke's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jayden Hootman led the charge by going 6 for 14 en route to 15 points. Another player making a difference was Seneca Calderon, who posted seven points in addition to six steals and five rebounds.

Webber's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Pembroke, they pushed their record up to 6-3 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Webber has already played their next contest (against Medina), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Pembroke has also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against Alexander.
