Volleyball Recap: Farmington Phoenix vs. Lone Peak Knights
Farmington and Lone Peak squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Farmington had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Knights by a score of 3-2. The Phoenix have struggled against the Knights recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.
Pearce Eliason paced Farmington's offense, picking up 19 kills. Eliason got some help from Tavin Fulton and his 48 assists. Finally, Yuvraj Multani and Justin Pugmire kept the team grounded on defense, each having blocked seven attacks.
Lone Peak found their leader in sophomore Trevor Allen, who had 12 digs and two aces.
Farmington's defeat dropped their record down to 19-8. As for Lone Peak, their victory bumped their record up to 20-7.
