Soccer Recap: Horizon Comes Up Short

Horizon lost to Americas back in March of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Scorpions came up short against the Trail Blazers, falling 8-0. Horizon have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Horizon's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Americas, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-3.

Coming up, Horizon will be playing at home against Coronado at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Horizon will be up against Coronado's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.17 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Americas, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 1-0 defeat against Chapin on the 10th.
