Basketball Game Preview: Otsego Bulldogs vs. Edwardsburg Eddies

The Otsego Bulldogs will take on the Edwardsburg Eddies at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Tuesday, Otsego was beaten by Marshall 69-41. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 327th, while the Redhawks are ranked 154th).

Meanwhile, Edwardsburg unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Monday. They took a 50-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of Plainwell.

Otsego has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.3 points per game. As for Edwardsburg, their loss dropped their record down to 10-6.
