There's no place like home for Boyd County, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat the Fairview Eagles 69-31. Given the Lions' advantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 60th, while the Eagles are ranked 249th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Boyd County's win bumped their record up to 18-10. As for Fairview, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-21.
