Meanwhile, Columbia came up short against Gainesville on Thursday and fell 60-50. The loss continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Hurricanes: they've now lost six in a row.

Columbia's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-9. As for Santa Fe, they pushed their record up to 11-10 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.
