Baseball Recap: St. Catherine's Angels vs. Milwaukee Lutheran Red Knights

After flying high against Heritage Christian last Tuesday, St. Catherine came back down to earth. The St. Catherine's Angels took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Milwaukee Lutheran Red Knights on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to St. Catherine's of the 14-3 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2015.

Devlyn Kellogg put in work no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over four innings pitched. Kellogg was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with a triple, a run, and a double.

Kellogg wasn't the only one making solid contact as two players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Matthew Feurestein, who went 1-for-3 with an RBI.

St. Catherine's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Milwaukee Lutheran, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-16.

St. Catherine's will head out on the road to take on St. Anthony at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
