Softball Recap: Dekaney Comes Up Short

Dekaney fell victim to MacArthur and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 12-0 to the Generals. The defeat continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Generals: they've now lost eight in a row.

Dekaney saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Takiara Blanton, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double.

Dekaney's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for MacArthur, they now have a winning record of 11-10-1.

Looking ahead, Dekaney will host Nimitz at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Wildcats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cougars have averaged an impressive 8 runs per game this season. As for MacArthur, they are taking a road trip to take on Benjamin Davis at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Generals are facing the Falcons at the right time seeing as the Falcons are stuck on a 19-game losing streak.
