Recap: Wagner Thunderbirds vs. Cedar Hill Longhorns
On Thursday, Wagner beat Cedar Hill 58-50.
Wagner found their leader in underclassman Trevaun Clark, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 12 rebounds. The match was Clark's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Marcus Johnson, who scored 12 points.
Wagner has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. As for Cedar Hill, their loss dropped their record down to 5-2.
Wagner will be playing in front of their home fans against Chaparral at 9:00 a.m. on Friday. Allowing an average of 67 points per game, Chaparral has struggled on the defensive end, but that doesn't have to be the case in this contest. Cedar Hill is on the road again on Friday and play against Centennial at 9:00 a.m. on December 1st. Centennial will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 1159th, while Cedar Hill is ranked 155th).
