Baseball Recap: NELA Christian Homeschool Falls Short of Good Samaritan Homeschool in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact NELA Christian Homeschool can now relate to. They took a 13-10 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Good Samaritan HomeSchool Hornets on Saturday. The Flame have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

NELA Christian Homeschool got a massive performance out of Ephraim Hankins, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Hankins has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Michael Fox, who went 2-for-5 with three stolen bases, three RBI, and one run.

NELA Christian Homeschool's loss dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Good Samaritan HomeSchool, their win bumped their record up to 11-5.

As of now, neither NELA Christian Homeschool nor the Hornets have any future games scheduled.
